The Paradise deck from North comes with a thinner deck plate, making the deck much lighter. The flat bottom of the deck will make grinds feel smooth, especially on more beat up ledges in the streets. This deck can go either way, but I think it is geared towards park style riding due to its smaller width. Its boxed in the back, so 50-50s and 5-0s are still possible, but it isn't going to be easier than doing those grinds on a wider deck like something that is 5.5" or 5.0".
In other words, if you're a park focused rider who still likes ride ledges or rails occasionally, definitely give the Paradise a try!
